    Did anyone try the new account recovery system? I tried to remove recovs TWICE on an account using it and even though the recoveries were successful, the recov question and email were still there?

    Help? :3

    Yeah for some reason, it says i can add new recoveries and emails to an account.
    But when i log in on runescape, on the log in screen it says they are still registered.

    You can post on that "hijacked?" thread, and if you're truly the OO, they will remove the email/recovs registered.

    Did you try and recover as 'Stolen' or 'Forgotten' password. Recovering as Stolen removes both the email and recovery questions

    Edit: at least that's what happened in the previous system

    There is no more stolen or forgotten password it all sends you to same recovery page.

    This system is easier to recover accounts.

    Cant do that anymore, theres only 1 recov method.

    Id also like to know how to do this is i wanna sell an account soon.

    Either A) get the buyer to trust you.
    or B) trust the buyer and wait 2 weeks for him to set his own recovs.

    Don't really see any other way around it.

    i bought an account for 3 weeks ago, and it got my recovs+email on it atm. Is it safer now with this new method?
