Removing Recoverys

How do you remove recovery's from an account? I'm not talking about JAG.

Followed the thread about removing then in the market section, but it didn't remove the recovery's.

I think nowadays you have to email jagex @ their accounthelp email, asking them to reset old info, at least its what I think

Not personally, but superfluous was the one who told me about it , so I think you just have to explain to jagex your account has been compromised and needs a info reset, goodluck!

I'm nearly 100% sure recoveries can't be removed anymore.

 

So, if there are recovery's on the account. And I would put JAG on the account. Would JAG make any difference in recovering it? As in, would it overrule the recovery's?

 

Are you referring to a purchased account you're trying to remove them from? If so, no matter what you do to the recoveries and/or JAG your chances of recovering it back should the original owner decide to recover it are zero. The original owner will always be able to get it back no matter what.

 

Haven't purchased it yet. The person I'm buying it from just mailed jagex. When I tried to put JAG on there we needed those recovery questions. Since those were random numbers etc and they got lost. We'll see what jagex does.

 

their dumb recovery questions are a waste..imo all websites/email providers etc.. should steer away from recoveries, and stick to the phone number recovs, although i guess that could interfere with games like rs (people who are selling the acc)

 

if there are recoveries and no jag, registering JAG will overwrite the recovery questions.

 

Account recovers are IP based btw, keep it in mind
