    ---> Make Report A Player Section Simpler <---

    BEFORE READING PLEASE ---> Instead of just saying '' not needed'' or ''no support'' Please provide a semi-detailed explanation of your decision regarding this suggestion.

    Suggesting:
    Implement an update on each thread, which would be visible to everyone.

    Suggestion Break Down:
    There is a simpler way of going about the handling of reports, with the same idea taken from the ''Request A Pardon'' section, where there is a change in the title of the report with an update.

    For example, the pardon system now has an added bracket with an update to the current thread's status such as the commencement of when voting shall begin, or how many supports the OP currently has.

    This is the easiest way to go, and allows everyone to proceed as normal, but allows community members and staff alike who are involved or interested in the reports to stay updated without having to scroll through everything and read it all.

    The option to read it all will still be available of course, but for those who are on a time crunch or just to save time for the community, there could be an update added in the title whenever there's a change to the report's status.

    Examples of what the updates would look like:
    Example of the original thread -----> [Original Thread title here]

    Example of an updated thread ------>[Original Thread title here ( Resolved)]
    Example of an updated thread ------>[Original Thread title here (banned)]
    Example of an updated thread ------> [Original Thread title here (Urgent FireZ)]

    Or a quicker tag style such as,

    Example of an updated thread ------>[Original Thread title here (W.F.OP)]

    Implementation of a new Tag system of sorts, on each thread title with updates based on the Key provided below.

    Updated Thread title Key:
    W.F. = Waiting For
    U = Urgent
    RN = Refund needed
    RP = Refund in progress
    RC = Refund Complete
    S= Solved
    2O = 2nd opinion
    NR = No Response
    NROP = No response from OP
    NRS = No Response from staff involved
    NRT = No Response from tagged members
    NEP = Not enough Proof/Inconclusive
    MPN = More Proof needed

    Given these tags can be changed or have other words beside them, I think this is a great idea and quite helpful to everyone.

    If the tags aren't enough to explain the update on the current report, there can always be added information to the tags.
    For Example:
    MPN = More proof Needed (this is the tag the thread title is updated with, but this doesn't specify who needs to provide more proof.

    Simply add something to the tag so the end result looks something like,
    MPN BY OP, which now tells us who needs to provide more proof before the report can proceed further.

    This would also require an update the report a player forum sticky with the new tag system and what each tag means.

    Simply putting an update on the thread title allows anyone to get a current update, this would mean staff would need to add a tag whenever they take action on a report, so others can know what's going on.

    Is this not already done...?

    If its a LoL report, blade or sellerman gets tagged.

    If it's a case that staff in the past dealt with, they get tagged.

    I know you might not see it all that much but I thought this was already a thing.

    I also believe like 70-80% of reports are solved within 1 comment or 1 post so I'm not sure that scrolling through is such a big deal?

    I could be wrong but I wont support or no support at this time.

    Its going to be a pain in the ass for people like FireZ to go through. As they would have to search for the "priorities" and things..

    No sadly. There is no current system set in place that provides the viewer an update to the reports, there is only a discretion based system set in place where whoever deals with the reports decides to or not to, provide a change in the thread title.

    The reports that are handled in 1 post are probably not even worth getting an update on anyways, which is fine, that's not my main concern.

    I'm mainly concerned with the threads that stay in the open section for days without an update and everyone is continuously viewing the thread to find out what's happened.

    Applying a tag to the thread title shouldn't take much time, and should allow people to just view the thread titles for the updates instead of clicking on every single thread and scrolling through them to view updates.

    Especially if we have 10+ open reports in the section.

    I disagree completely, there isn't 100 pages of open reports, and the updates would allow admins such as FireZ to see his name is tagged in the thread, which already happens if someone needs to tag a specific mod, but isn't always done.

    Also when threads are archived, they would have the tag still on the thread title so anyone that needs to look for the thread, can find it easier.

    I dislike since I know you to say this but I'ma go with no support after hearing ur reasoning.

    I just don't feel theres a NEED or a DEMAND for this, staff have kept the report section pretty well under control and we have a solid team atm.

    I just checked and 90% of reports that weren't posted in the last 24 hours still open are either waiting on a response, waiting on some information, or just haven't been moved yet.

    It looks like all the reports themselves are being handled quite quickly, the only reason theres 10-15 now is because people aren't archiving them yet or their waiting on someone to provide something.

    Also I've seen the section WAY WORSE than it is, I can remember a time it was like 4 pages back at one point, was insane.

    I'm not seeing the demand, any report that's not dealt with is usually tagged for the appropriate people in my opinon quite quickly.

    I don't see eye to eye with a lot of the team but they do a good job with the report system and following up tbh.

    Especially when its as simple as messaging a staff on skype "hey this report needs an update"...

    Very few reports require that, and fewer still need a entire system dedicated to organizing them.

    I don't think this is entirely necessary. It's not too difficult to comb the thread in 30 seconds to find the result of it, wether it was resolved or not. If it was a misunderstanding, the person accused can request the title to be changed, solving half of those tags. Most of the staff talk to other staff simply without the tags, so it'd just be extra hassle and relying on them to view the section regularly.

    Dunworry hit the nail on the head, it's really just an unnecessary task for staff members. If you have a scam report in your name and it was resolved, just PM a moderator or report the OP and request that the title be changed to note that the issue was resolved.

    I really don't see the need for all of those tags you mentioned either, no way I'm going to remember that when I'm doing scam reports.

    Doesn't hurt to read the thread to find out the result. It doesn't even take more than 10 seconds if you scroll to the last post.
