(Discussion) Split LoL Boosting and Team Sales into Buying and Selling Subsections

• Currently there are 110 pages of threads in this section.
• Significantly more people create "advertising service" threads than "looking for services" threads
• Those who wish to create their own threads requesting specific/niche services can get drowned out by advertisers bumping their threads

Frequenters of the LoL Market, do you think it would be work splitting LoL Boosting and Team Sales into a separate buying and selling section, similar to the gold buying/selling subforums?

 

I don't think it's needed as yet. There are probably 5-10 threads per week at most pertaining to buying a boost. In the near future, if more of said threads increases, we can look over it again. That's my opinion.

 

I think its a good idea, Especially with the point about people who want specific accounts threads get drowned by the boosters contsantly bumping.

It just makes the clusterfuck which is the LoL Boosting and team sales section easier on the user. Only reason to deny this would be lazy staff, it doesnt hinder the site in anyway, it will only help

 

Imagine only 5 threads there over a two week period, it would make those that come here to buy services think that the forum is dead (due to that subsection), and possibly go elsewhere. Everything is subjective however. Open to other peoples opinion.

 

Good point. I agree that there are very few "buying" threads relative to "selling" threads but they're still there.

Could making a section increase the amount of "buying" interest?

I would personally love to browse buying threads and try see boosters trying to fight over jobs. It might be healthy for the market.

This being said, it might be best to wait until we start seeing more of these threads.
