Remember me button next to login.

Hi,
I'm not sure if there is a button somewhere on the site but it is hard to find if there is so if there is my suggestion changes to moving the button next to where you login on the homepage. I think that this would be very helpful especially to those 2fa users as it's a bit of a hassle opening the app to get the code everytime.

As long as you have cookies enabled, you should always stay logged in.

I don't think I've been logged out for some time now (although I do need to log in every time when in need of 2FA).

If you're recommending a "remember me button" for 2FA, I think that would defeat the purpose of the security it provides, but I'm willing to hear other opinions on this matter.

 

I mean the "remember me" button for login in, in general not just for 2fa. Also I never have to login in on my desktop as it stays logged in on that computer but on my iPhone and iPad where I use sythe the most from it doesn't seem to stay logged in as soon as I turn off my phone/iPad. Or if I don't go on the internet for like 15 mins.

 

This sounds more like a technical support question in that case.

I'm questioning if there's a browser that you can download that doesn't clear your cache/cookies/history/etc for an iPhone/iPad.
I've never had experiences with either device, so I wouldn't be the one to ask.

In regards to the iphone/ipad. I use Sythe on my iphone and never had to log in a second time, using Safari

 

For my iPhone, atleast, I remember I found the remember me button somewhere on sythe and I didn't have to login in for a while. Then I like cleared all cookies and I can't find the button that remembers me again. So I'm sorta stuffed.

It's on the theme with the sidebar, not the main ones.

 

I think this might be an issue with your computer, because I have never been logged out unless I have cleared my cookies myself.

Never have had to log in and second time myself.

 

No reason to keep posting that it works, ya'll. This site (99.99% of vB sites iirc) auto-store cookies. He/she has an internal problem.

The only reason that you'll be logged out is if you're clearing the cookies yourself or via an external program.

Also, your settings could be wrong.

Some questions to answer:

Do you have any of those spam-toolbars or extentions?
Google "ADWcleaner" install and run. It'll remove bullshit.

What's your browser, is it updated fully?

What extentions or add-ons are you running?

 

I always stay logged in on PC its just when i use my iphone that I always get logged out.

General - Privacy
Private browsing - off (does absolutely nothing anyway)
Accept Cookies - from visited

That should work unless you're using another app for internet?

 

No issues with the opera or my phone. This is a user issue, hope you get it sorted.
