Religion.

Well by saying that you're showing your ignorance of the Muslim religion. You don't even have to have ever met a Muslim to become one and assert yourself as one. If you're attempting to be 'unique', try an emo group and follow some unheard of band not a group that counts 1/4 of the world's population as members and in 200+ countries.

I am also a Muslim, I don't go broadcasting it self-righteously but if asked or if you knew me well enough it'd be common knowledge; I daresay obvious.

 

I'm not saying that choosing the Muslim religion itself is a ploy for individualism... but I'm saying that how he represented himself was a move towards douche-baggery.

If you ask me, religious people have no right calling US stupid. We have logic and science on our side. You have santa, the easterbunny, and other imaginairy beings on yours.

 

Not sure what I am; went to a Roman Catholic school as a kid and was brought up to believe in God, but I moved schools to a school with little Religious Studies ethic, a school more involved in the subject of Philosophy.
Philosophy is the study of truth, whereas Religion is the study of belief and idea.
Well, I guess one day we'll all find out the real, undeniable truth

 

Not sure why you're stating this, really. They don't believe Santa, the Easter Bunny, etc... are real. They're simply there to instill values and entertain children. Even those who are not religious practice some of this.

We're on teh interwebz. Geeks are uncool, atheism is cool. Therefore, geeks state they are atheist to seem cool and attack religions for not being able to back up their beliefs, when they can't either. Get your head in the game, man.

You think most of us are lame? Dude nobody likes you. You and I both know that. You don't even know what you believe in? That's sad.
Also, I'm proud to be a Muslim because I know it's the right way to go. Everyone has there opinions but i'm not forcing you to believe mine.

I can, will, and have backed up my reasoning for being an atheist. Your assumption that people are saying they are atheists to be "cool" is backed up with no evidence and thus not valid.

 

This is why there is Google.

 

Lets say 10,000 people play Runescape and 200 people are very successful people at making money out of the 10,000. Those 200 people are probally smarter than the 9,800 other players who can't make money with ease, so they go to Sythe. The smart players are most likely going to be atheist so it would seem like there are more atheist than usual. This would make it seem like people are lying about their religion when it is just asking a community rather than a whole.
