Reincarnation

There's a big flaw with reincarnation though, can't even remember what it was. Something to do with the population growing and the numbers just not fitting (this includes animals and nature aswell).

 

Yeah, I'd like to hear OPs take on this lol.

 

I do not support reincarnation.

However whats so flawed about this, can't your consciousness split between 2?

 

well, there is no factual basis here really.

this would also be assuming your consciousness existed after death....which most of us agree it does not.

also if it were to split in 2, then it would not really be consciousness in a sense that we typically think of it. You would then be two separate organisms, therefore consciousness/sense-of-self becomes obsolete.

 

Well there's really only one type of consciousness we can think of, it's the one we live :S "Splitting" would - as you said- render that consciousness obselete because it'd make it an out-of-body experience.

On another note, I find non-conscious reincarnation MUCH more likely than whatever heaven religions have stocked for you.
