Regarding my demotion

Alrighty then.

Well, I was demoted in February, I think, for really no reason. I tried logging in multiple times, with my password being incorrect with each attempt. I realized I was hacked, and immediately messages any member of staff that was online on MSN, only to find out that I was already banned. A few days went by, and I talked to Pen on each of them. He said he would unban me and change my password, which he did. I logged on, and realized that I no longer had my modship. I talked to Pen about it, and he said he would reinstall my modship as soon as I gave him a picture of a scan of my computer. I did so, and a few days went by and nothing happened, so I messaged him again. He replied with 'We need our moderators' accounts to be safe and secure, so sorry.' I was a bit pissed off, but alright. The next day, I see a new thread; 'Promotions'. Alrighty. MegaMatt was promoted. Wait a second! What happened to 'We need our moderators' to be secure'? Wasn't HIS account HACKED and SCAMMED 50M? My account was indeed hacked, but nothing was scammed.

Finn - I know what you're going to say - "He was one of the most fucking laziest mods ever. He never did anything!" Well, I admit I wasn't doing as active as all of the mods, but I was as active as i could be. I notified an Admin AHEAD of time whenever I was going to be inactive. You have NO idea what I was dealing through - From my family falling apart, to the deaths of my friends, and cousins. My brother almost dying, leaving, and much more. When things are that crazy at home, it was a surprise I was even doing that much. I know for a fact you haven't gone through anything CLOSE to what I was, so you're in NO place to get on my case for inactivity.

Note to MegaMatt - I <3 you, nothing personal, I still think you're doing a great job as a moderator.

 

Well there wasn't concrete evidence that anything was scammed in my situation(reason for my unban) (its likely there was but no real evidence). I have no problem with you coming back as staff, but its not really up to me =\

 

We're not repeatedly bringing back Moderators anymore, especially those who have, when in their position, been extremely inactive, with dire mod logs.

I know Matthew agrees, as we're sick of bringing people back and just throwing them into spots for no reason at all. If you want to ask Pen to have a look, feel free. Otherwise, you may be considered when there is a position next open.

 

You say we're not repeatedly bringing back Moderators, yet Billy left twice and you happily welcomed him back, even though all spots are filled.
I'm not begging for an immediate placement into staff, just whenever there's a spot open, or when a you're short on a few moderators (Game Dev/Market). Things have cooled down around the house, so I have much more time for Sythe!
