Regarding last report - Overruling ToS

Fuck me with a stick this is actuall getting stupid. The reason I am posting here instead of on your fake violation report (which is meant to be in feedback btw like this thread) is because I don't wish to spam a pointless thread.

I am going to state the obvious, and that's the fact YOU need to stop playing victim. While we can understand at least some of us that you had good intention behind your stuff you tried to pull, it ultimately was not what you're advertising, and as such you are able to be punished for it.

You was using a cracked/fake client, AKA steroid client to which you admitted yourself, so telling ABM that "he needs to go look for it himself" is just opening another report against another member of the community like you did Turtle despite you apparently allowing it, he digs too deep and you're going to throw your toys out the pram again.

So to state again the obvious, he did in fact give you an option -

IF ANYTHING you was treated above fairly, I mean considering the snipped photos from @Keith I guess you could say you got off MORE THAN FAIRLY considering all you did was got a minor infraction point and nothing more, while Turtle on the other hand although was completely fine with it in fact got banned for this whole exposure.

You was given a week/over a week to cover yourself, a lot like with the worker deposit situation which was owed to said other workers (who ironically you fired if I recall? can correct me if wrong) and as such there was owed X-money to whoever. This means it isn't rightfully going to the community refund pool, as it was owed to X-people due to debt, if it was YOU scamming and not the said worker who you had this issue with then it would of been right community fund, but because you was essentially the middleman in this situation of which you was able to easily send it out to said people as you had it documented there was no need for anything else to be put in place.


All in all, this is just fucking stupidly sad. You have shown you are a risk to the community with your petty victim card handplay when in fact you shouldn't have been lying about the client situation to begin with. This is what got that situation out there to begin with, and how you can instead try to justify it with "well we tried to protect our customers beyond the basic protection" makes no difference.

You fucked up, as do many other people but guess what.. Surprise, we're human and we make mistakes like anything else in life. You was given a DNT because you wasn't following the protocol you was told to follow, look at many people who get off a lot worse than you, you should count yourself very lucky as if it was me as a mod I would of banned you.

 

While I do agree with just about everything you've highlighted, the fact it took their non-conformity to result in a DNT is crazy.

They've put 'thousands' of customer at risk running a 3pc while claiming it was vanilla RuneLite, that alone should be considered ban worthy, especially given they knew from the get go what they were doing.

To then act like they were doing those customers a favour by 'including that service' in their crazy prices is just another layer of shit that shouldn't have ever been tolerated on this site.

At the very least, they should be forced to refund every penny they've made out of their workers and customers for the deception, lies and risk they put everyone through, not to mention the exploitation of the workers that are just trying to feed their families.

Greed is the best way to describe a piece of shit like this guy.

"you have a week to remove", and "if these are not updated within a week a much more severe punishment will be put in place"... They got warned and to say they didn't like come on now lol.

They should have been banned though you are right, people get banned for much less beyond the fact of being able to breath sometimes (obviously a bigger extent but you get my idea) so to lie for at least a year and a half/2 years or whatever timeframe and as you said yourself put their customers at risk and think that just because they are "better" is mind blowing they cant see the wrong.

The problem with refunding said x-people is the staff wont be able to go down every customer known in their server currently + ex server (due to the nuke that happened to them and many other servers sadly) so it's going to always fall under a grey area in that regard. It's a difficult situation at least for many and i'm sure them as well, but people will without a doubt continue to use them as remember they are "provably the best"...

 

No I appreciate refunding everyone may well be a little over the top, but the facts remain, they put everyone at risk, no notice and false statements.

They are quite literally a danger to the community and scraped a DNT because they couldn't follow a simple instruction that would have let them off scot-free.

For them to then complain about the mod who has been lenient with them this whole time is even more bizarre.

Hopefully another member of staff steps in and bans them, that's the least they deserve.
