Account upgrade services section name update

Hey guys
For like year there are Runecoins, SoF etc
What do you think about renaming Account Upgrade Services section to "Account Upgrade Services, RuneCoins and SoF Spins sales"
or
"Account Upgrade, RuneCoins and SoF Spins services" or something smiliar to it? If you have any other suggestions how should it look like feel free to post them here. Current account upgrade service looks like it's limited only to Memberships
If not that then description of section could be updated from: You may offer account upgrade services here. to: You may offer and request account upgrade services, RuneCoins and SoF Spins

I think 'Account Upgrade, Spins and SoF Sales' would be better, as it's not really a service it's more of a sale of an item.

 

Spins and sof are exactly same thing

Sales > Services IMO anyways, it's called Gold Sales not gold services, and item sales. This is pretty much the same as 90% of the people just give the code over, there's only a few that apply the code.

 

Yeah but I dont think its legally possible to make it shops, thats why mentioning 'PINS' isnt allowed in upgrades

 

PINS refer to the SMS upgrades that you could obtain via '*******s'. They were lines connected up to other peoples phones that you could steal credit off.

As long as it's gamecard codes that are being given, I can't see a problem with that as they're runescape endorsed and you can buy in a shop to give a friend anyways, they don't say not for resale on them.

 

Support, I think "Account Upgrade Services, RuneCoins and SoF Spins sales" would work well.

 

Replace the first part with membership instead and make them all sales.

 

Yeah you're right that sounds a lot better.

 

In theory it's still considered upgrading your account.

I'm reopening this because it is a bigger change than I realized at first.

If we rename "Account Upgrade Services" to "Membership, RuneCoin, and SoF Spin sales" we will most likely also need to move it out of User Services and back to its own section. I am for that and if we get enough support I will push for that to happen.

What about merging Item + gold exchange to one section 'Gold and Item exchange' then adding on place of item exchange Membership, RuneCoin, and SoF Spin sales
I think that would work, runescape market wouldnt be any bigger, item exchange is not posted too often, mostly bumped.

 

I personally would love to see membership upgrades have it's own section - It would get a lot more traffic in my eyes. If it doesn't we can always move it back.

 

Keep in mind that, there are people who to be honest fairly often post in gold section about buying membership for gold, happened to me few times to report threads like those to be moved

 

I would support a rename here but i don't think they are really traded are they? Other than chloe cop i've never really seen many people wanting to buy spins etc..

 

I'd be fine with a renaming, but an entirely new section brought up to the front? I wouldn't support that, there's not enough traffic.

 

Runecoins are quite popular as that's to pay off negative credit, and spins are a limited market, but they're still there.

 

Could update this as a 'bond trading' section considering it's not technically just an in game item.

 

Don't think it's really that necessary, people will probably start bond threads in the account upgrade section anyways since the two pretty much go hand in hand
