Regarding Bans from Service Providers (OSRS)

Tangent from doing research on skilling services - TLDR at bottom

Was just going through a few old reports of Service providers, as I was interested in getting services done (specifically people I trust like @Rigo and @Meta Team @vnv ) and noticed that both were in situations where they had an order to do a service (no idea if said service was claimed to be 100% hand done at the time) but in the end of each report they only had to pay what they didn't complete on the order but not what the value of the account that they got perm banned.
    Why is that?

What I am referring to is the "not paying the value of the account they got banned" bit. It didn't seem like the people who made the report made any fuss of it, specifically the one mentioned in the Meta teams report which is the reason they currently have a TWC.

I know a few of the people I spoke with on discord were also puzzled because that doesn't seem fair to a buyer. Obviously I guess you can't really know what activities the people are doing prior to the service on the account but It just doesn't seem fair to me, I guess.

This is no diss on Meta or anyone that claims to do anything by hand, but that shit can easily be scape goated by plugins. All plugins that I use have the ability to hide the UI of the plugin in most cases for skilling. I feel like if someone claims that their service is done by hand and the buyer gets banned for macroing (I mean, if hes paying for a service like skilling, why would he just not "bot" it???) why is the service provider not at fault.

TLDR; Why are service providers not at fault for bans that happen shortly after a service is done, or is being done/uncompleted and only have to pay for what is uncomplete and not additionally what was the value of the account that was banned as well?

Because there is no way to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that the service provider was responsible for the ban. The user having the service done could easily be logging into the account and botting for six hours a day while the worker is asleep. Sythe can't reasonably hold the service accountable for something if there's not verifiable evidence that they were at fault.

    This basically.

I've also had workers making accounts from scratch that get macro bans but they've provided all leveling screenshots. I believe sometimes if there's a flagged IP on an account there is a potential for the account to be banned under macroing although macroing was not done. There's always a risk in RWTing in OSRS - whether that's selling gold, ordering infernals, buying accounts, etc.. Some take precautions to ensure this doesn't happen (VPN/residential IP/etc) while others do not.
