[Denied]re-add the cooldown timer for bumping

So from what I gathered, I could be wrong on this by all means but when I bumped before there was a cooldown timer which would tell you that you cannot bump for "x-time"

if you're like me, you have bookedmarked all of your threads -



This common obvious reason is to avoid confusion of where threads are/what threads are open and such of which you usually bump.

For some reason, (and I reported a comment of mine just now that I overbumped on purpose to compile this sort of thread) it seems to have been removed or isn't working or whatever i don't know.

Could we have it re-added? This way, it avoids multiple bumps spamming threads and such without the time duration.

I would like to again provide some more insight on this -

So as you can see below, we also cannot remove our own comments again - Not sure why this isn't allowed anymore, but if not mistaken we was allowed to delete our own comments, which in fact could also avoid this common issue that's very easy to solve.

 

Cooldown bump was changed from 4h to 2h at same time when new bumping rule came out.

Really? A few days ago it rejected a bump of mine when I opened my thread twice by accident, it told me there was a 4 hour duration for comments to be added again.

Edit - Bit weird they have added a 2 hour limit too lmao, if it's 2 hours per regular bump as you are saying (I believe it was for customers to bump, could be wrong) then that would in fact abuse the system again via flaw.

 

nowadays customers vouch on your *vouch thread and then you quote their post and post it in your gold sales thread for example that way you can bump every 2 hours. So if bump woud be set at 4 hours they coudnt bump every 2h with quoted vouch bump.,

Yeah, I was fine with the warning text as it avoids people misusing bumps etc.

I mean, I haven't done it for over a week or so, but it was a lot more easier when you're mass bumping threads.

 

This was a misunderstanding of the rules
