Do you prefer to cheat or play normally?

When it comes to games, do you take the easy route and look to apply cheats to the game, or do you play the game normally? If so, why?

 

For me its situational.

Have to consider the risk of getting banned, what it does for my gameplay experience, and what it does for the experience of others.

 

If I genuinely enjoy the game I will have at least one account I play legitimately on, with no ties to any blackmarket stuff. Aside from that, I'll cheat on other accounts.

Usually I play normally without cheating but when it comes to online games I enjoy finding flaws / glitches that I can abuse in some way.

 

I usually play by the rules unless a massive amount of cheaters exist on the game I play.

 

Typically play normally, except if I can cut out a repetitive task that I've already done many times. Hence why when I played RS I'd bot monotonous skills such as firemaking, fletching, and woodcutting, and in WoW I'd farm a bit every week.

 

Same with me. I play the game normally but for some skills such as agility, cooking, firemaking, alching which gets too repetitive to me and I get bored, I bot them.

 

I play normally on all sociable games (where you interact with others), i.e. I have never botted skilling on Runescape, however auto typing is seen as botting, so aspects of what is determined as cheating, will most likely differ in my opinion.

Unless it's a game where I simply know I wont play for long, or general 1 player games which are just to play for fun/in the mean time and that don't effect other people.

 

i perfer play normally but i did cheat on things like GTA V etc.. for just the cash cause i wouldnot waste time doing it legit if others not did it..
But in competitive gaming like cs:go etc battlefield multiplayer FPS game i perfer play legit.

 

Cheating is fun but gets boring. Playing legit is sometimes boring but if you get good and enjoy playing legit it's 10x better.

 

With the exception of a couple of console games where using cheats makes the game much more enjoyable, I play every game legitimately.

 

It depends entirely on the game itself.

If it's a game like CS:GO, where it mainly revolves around the concept of competitive game play, of course I would abstain from cheating.

However, if the game is an MMORPG like Runescape, I would cheat once in a while to have people help skill or service my account due to the repetitiveness that comes with MMORPGs.

 

I prefer playing normally as well. It gives you more of a sense of accomplishment when you obtain a level or an item rather than cheating to get it. The only exception is a game like GTA when you have a better time with cheats than working hard for it.

 

Normally, as cheating is no fun to me at all.

 

If to better enjoy the game I have to put in hours of work, I'd rather cheat and get to that stage of enjoyment rather than use up time I could spend doing something else.

 

Unless you call looking up walkthroughs online at your most desperate times cheating, I prefer not to cheat.

Play normal! I hate taking the easy way out.

 

It depends on the game really, for example, GTA, I usually use the cheat code for all guns. It makes the gameplay more enjoyable, IMO.
