Recovering hacked acocunt.

Hey guys, I need help recovering an account that was hacked from me a while ago. I have almost all the information, but unfortunately the new owner has put an e-mail on the account, and possibly linked it to a social network site. Every time I appeal it, it's an instant deny. Anything I can do? I've tried recovering over and over but nothing.

 

Get the account locked, and than appeal it. I'm not sure about the email/facebook side of things but the recovery questions will be gone.

 

How exactly do I get it locked? I'm pretty sure the guy will just un-lock it faster than me since I'm getting auto-denied.

 

Oh btw if you can't successfully recover the password than you have no hope. That shows you have no information on the account to even get your password back.

Do you mean auto denied as in the message that asks you to wait one hour because you are submitting to many things? or you just can't successfully recover the password?

 

No, as in I check my inbox on my e-mail like 2 mins later and they send me an e-mail saying it's denied. Also, I have all the right info, and I have recovered accounts like I'm doing with this one, but for some reason it won't work with this account. I am the original owner and everything, I just don't get it.

 

Than you have a slim chance, Just because he has the email does not make a difference.

In the section where you can type i always have the location, state and postcode of where the account was created. I than list about 10 previous passwords and two sets of old recovery questions.

just tried that, auto deny again, I go and check why it's denied and they tell me to give them all the info required... which I have done, and it's all correct.

 

He will not be able to lock it if you was not keylogged.
Just try to recover over and over. Moreover, contact [email protected] and ask them to remove hackers' information.

 

I'm pretty sure I was keylogged, I just recovered like 3 accounts that were hacked. I will try that, I'll let you know the results.
EDIT: I'm getting auto-denied, this makes no sense. Is it possible that the hacker contacted jagex saying he moved or something? This account has been hacked for a while, I think it's been used quite a bit, because the name has been changed.

 

If your first payment was via credit card include the first Cardholder's name, and then the first billing address.

 

You are fked. if the account was realy yours then you should have the ip adress and it would not be a problem at all.

I really don't think you were the original owner or perhaps your information is for the wrong account. Don't listen to dion though his just a post count whore.

 

However, tells to JAGEX that i can prove you that i created this account by me. JAGEX is possible asked you what's your IP address, might you should give them, JAGEX will be investigations then appealed. Hope you would do that.

 

Contact jagex mail and talk with them

 

I had an account that I quit 6 years ago cause it was hacked, and recovered it recently, doesn't really matter how long they have it if you got the information.

Isn't there a thread on Official RS forums where you should post if your hacked?

 

why would I make this thread if I wasn't the real owner? I honestly don't understand what's going on.

 

Why would you even try to recover it back?
There is no use in owning an unsafe account..
