Not to be mean but if you cant put together that being deceitful by luring and deceitful by scamming for the the same reward money/rsgp you are a moron. Luring is tricking people out of their things under false pretenses, scamming (atleast the scamming on sythe) is typically setting up a deal under false pretenses ex: you buy my account for 250m when i know im going to recover it, either way it takes deceit and the reward is the same (monetary). Anyone who doesnt see the connection needs to get their heads out of their asses. If you lie on rs you probably lie on sythe and you probably are a liar irl.

First of all everybody on this earth lies, and has lied in their life. People lie multiple times a day for personal gain in all sorts of different situations. That is human nature.

Also Luring people in-game maybe tricking people... but to be honest it is pretty darn obvoius most of the time. Jagex even puts blatant warning signs up in dangerous areas to warn people. Anyone who brings 95% of their bank to an area they could be killed by other players really had it coming to them, regardless of whether it was a lure or not.

I am not commending luring, I have never lured and have no interest in it. Luring is similar to scamming but not completely the same. On sythe you can always use an OMM to make sure you won't be scammed no matter what when doing business. The risk with buying accounts is huge and made obvious to all players, as is the risk of trading with players while not using an OMM but that is made clear to all users of sythe, who are willing to take the risk.

With luring, it's just darn silly to take a load of valuables into an area which you could easily die. You will be at the mercy of all those that can attack you, knowing you will recieve nothing in return.

Just build up your bank like you did in the first place. If you don't have the ability or desire to do all the hard work then you could always buy some RSGP from some of the trusted sellers here on Sythe, just be sure not to get scammed.

I personally would go the legit route just because it makes me proud to build back up after something like that. I hope everything works out for you :p

I ended up buying some Runescape gold from members of Sythe and did some staking and farming to build up my money once again. But honestly it aggravates me when others say that your an idiot or a moron, etc.. when you've been lured and especially in my incident when it was done by own clan members that I'd got to know and trust.

I honestly think although you've been pretty much cleaned.

Its all just one big lesson, I'm getting cleaned all the time trying to earn a rank in a certain friends chat.

Truth be told, I just skill until my next break comes :p
