Reason For Being Banned: idiot

My brother (http://www.sythe.org/member.php?u=184660) recently joined our community because I told him about it. He just told me he got banned, and he thinks it was because he was writing a blank thread in the spam forum. Since when is spam not aloud in the spam forum? He wasn't flooding or anything. Seems a little harsh too. I think whoever gave the ban should get a infraction for calling him an "idiot". Though I know the mod's like to stick together so that will most likely never happen.

Well, atleast give him a temporary ban if there even was a good reason to give it in the first place. I would also like to know the name of the admin who did it.
