    Not only do you not know what "normal protocol" is, seeing as youve never been staff. The report youve linked has deleted information/does not prove champ DNTd him before finding more infomation.

    Staff dont ban/DNT on hearsay. Only on actual proof. There are notable exceptions where staff will take the word of a "trusted" user into account but other than that its generally above.

    thank you for confirming to me that you actually are retarded Tyler.

    I have been staff offsite, and I know how staff functions work thank you. Just because you're not able to ban people for having their own opposed opinion to you, it doesn't mean i'm not going to call you out for being retarded.

    Right so now let's get down to the main parts of what you said -

    1) No you're right, I haven't been "staff here", what's your point being? It doesn't mean common sense cannot be applied here, fucking face palm.
    2) You're right though, people don't get DNT/ban on hearsay. There is quite clear proof which he was actually given DNT to begin with go read the comments. Do research before you go call someone out buddy.

    There should be no bias exceptions.. say I was the most trusted non-staff member on this website, does that mean I should be treated differently opposed to someone who is new? Not really. I would expect to be TWC/DNT until resolved regardless as it should be.

    Again, being what was staff, surely you're not this stupid.

    I guess my biggest gripe with the whole situation is that there's not any reason to believe that won does not owe the amount. If they truly paid the user the 10k, they would have at least had the courtesy to reply to the user instead of constantly avoid his messages for years. They themselves had said in the few messages together that it was an error with the bank and that they were unable to send the money and are aware of it being owed... They're not even denying the owing of the 10k at this point, and considering the user doesn't use sythe and continually reached out to won regarding it, there's no doubt that he in fact never received the 10k... He's been very persistent with them, and it's sad that it takes them being reported on sythe for them to get their act together, and that this behavior hasn't been DNT'd. They will never pay unless their business is at risk, hence the years of ignored messages and lack of cooperation on their part. This is no small amount, and at least from everything i've seen there's no indicator that won paid the amount, and their messages have never contradicted his story, they just claimed it was their banks problem..... Which isn't the sellers fault.

    This is what @Tyler seems to not be understanding. It's more the principle, and the simple normal followed protocol.

    if you're in a dispute (with valid evidence which there was opening it) you are put in TWC/DNT no matter the website. It doesn't matter of your relationship with staff, as that just showed bias opinions which you're then able to take advantage of.

    So essentially what we learned today:

    -> Get trusted, scam very large amount.
    -> Act like you can't help the person, and send them on a wild goose chase for months
    -> Wait a couple months to see if they will stop messaging
    -> Ignore persistent messages to solve the issue
    -> Now 5 years have passed, and it's too old to be reported
    -> Profit $$$

    Won isn't going to disappear. It's a shitty situation, but the guy left it lying there for 5 years and you want him to not be able to trade for weeks (more realistically way longer) while you find out if he's actually owing someone money?

    $12,000 is a huge amount and given it involves sending large quantities of money from China to another country it could easily take months. DNT hardly fits.

    This is what I thought about. Won is cooperating with the staff and should be given an exception in cases like this. Imo this could be compared to a small business getting a lawsuit filed against them. Why should it halt their business that is 99.9% of the time makingn customers happy?

    A yways, i'm upset with the final staff decision as @Ice Queen quoted but i'm sure they looked into it more than we think.

    If evidence of theft was found against a successful company, they would have been fined more than they could afford and would most probably have to shut down.

    The problem I have is people saying "The guy left it lying there for 5 years". They literally switched skypes, websites, and didn't message him back for months before renaming themselves. They dodged him and then he lost them because they completely swapped names and everything. He was just now able to find them, so it's not even remotely fair to say that it was his fault.

    Your narrative is imaginative and all, but is far from the reality of how such market users think. They don't think like narrow minded scammers. People like Won have been in the business for years, both onsite, and off, and have handled millions of dollars of Rs gold and other currencies. I think if you saw Won's customer list on the Chinese market platforms he sells on, you'd have eyeballs the size of Frisbees.


    This is a much more accurate account of what is actually going on. The video is 5 years old. And why is it only surfacing now? Of course staff have to take the time before potentially DNT'ing somebody for no reason. And sending money out of china is difficult. You often have to use third parties and a lot of the money can be pending in escrow for a week or longer.

    The amount that Won makes isn't even relevant. Additionally, I don't think they were making anywhere near the amount they are now, 5 years ago. This is no fault of the individual, they had banking issues, ignored his messages, swapped names, and he was unable to even contact them. They had nobody to hold them accountable to solve the issue, and he came to Sythe. If this was any other user, who had a banking issue and the seller didn't receive $12,000 you bet your ass they'd be on a DNT until it was solved, that's the person sending the money's responsibility.

    It is yet to be proven that the guy hasn't been reimbursed. That is entirely the point.

    I've sold Won 14B 07 in one trade last year if that means anything. He went out of his way to pay me as fast as he could.

    The man went on a 5 year hunt for his money. If they paid him, they'd be replying to him, not ignoring him and avoiding it. Additionally, he has sent them ALL of his bank statements showing he never received the money. He met his burden, they haven't met theirs.

    The employee is clearly replying to the user despite probably having no knowledge of the situation. To me it looks like Won's employee is doing his/her best to try keep the conversation calm and report back to Won for advice.

    Exactly, if people read the full report, they were ignoring him for MONTHS lmao. They literally kept saying their boss would be on in like "an hour" for weeks, and they never came on. Then dead silence until this sythe report.
