Real World Trading Method.

Just got proof that it won't work.

no when the balanced trade comes out you will only be allowed to gain 3k in 15 minute time.

You will be limited to a 3,000gp gain or loss every 15 minutes.

I tried.

The Method

Now as you know with the Grand Exchange, you can sell your items for 5% more or less then the "Market Value". So i'm going to assume that when the "Unbalanced Trades" come into action in January the trade screen will have the same 5% above or below Market Value.

So imagine the following:
- The buyer is buying 1M.
- The buyer has a Santa.
- The seller has 24M or more.
- The Market Price of a Santa is 23M.

Now the seller and buyer trade, the seller puts up the santa for offer then the buyer puts up 23,230,000gp. (5% more than the Santa Market Value)
The seller then trades the Santa back to the buyer, this time the buyer will put up the santa for offer and the seller will put up 22,770,000gp. (5% less than the Santa Market Value).

At this stage this buyer will still have their Santa Hat and will be up 460K, just keep repeating this process until the seller has their 1M.

The Pro's of this method are:
- It's about the only method that MAY work. (Can't be tested until the "Unbalanced Trades" come in to play).

The Con's of this method are:
- It requires the buyer and seller to already have some wealth. (It can still be done with items of less value but will take up alot of time and it also may become obvious to jagex what you are doing if you trade back and forth an excessive amount)
- It's a long and drawn out process for both the buyer and seller when buying amounts of 10M+
- Only method of Middle Man`ing would be to do the above process with the middle man, although this would take a fair amount of time.

Good try though.

Unless you were willing to trade 12K an hour for 100's of hours, then its a great idea.

nice idea, but lets face it. selling bulk mills is over and our only hope is jagex changing it back(will never happen) or someone hacks runescape and changes it back (lol)
