I have to disagree, Dforce really isn't that great and got famous over a technicality there songs really aren't that EXTREME to play and what not and how isn't people like Malmsteen, Satriani, Vai not famous? they are world renown.

 

Stop using mainstream to describe genres or waves of music. Artists are artists and styles are styles

 

Actually i saw DF recently front row and they hit every note dead on.

I never said he was talentless. You totally misread the post.
Have you seen Voodoo Chile, G3? Yngwie messes up and makes the song sound horrible.
I've said this before.. Hopefully you can read this this time.
Yngwie is a skilled guitarist, but that's all he is. He isn't a musician. He doesn't create music.. just mindless shredding in all honesty.

 

Herman Li is a great example of an ownage guitar player.
