I really think your best tip is not following any links and downloading things from sites you don't know. I can't believe some days that people fall for the youtube scams.

Thanks, This is very useful. I've been hacked before and I hated that feeling. Also, This is really useful for new players, etc.

 

I lost 600M from a Java Drive By. And its still on my computer and I have no idea how to remove it.

 

They are really tricky to remove. Also really easy to fall for.. I was so close to getting hacked myself.

 

They are pretty much just java applets that plant keyloggers / rats on your computer. Download Malwarebytes and give your computer a scan. If that doesn't work, add me on MSN and I'll talk to you when I get home.

 

Recovery: If you suspect that your account has been recovered because you have changed the password after you have scanned your computer then do a second computer scan just to be sure and make sure it is with Malwarebytes. If this fails visit the runescape forums and go to the topic with the quick code 250,251,395,61725846 or CLICK HERE. The account clean trial will only work if you are the original owner of the account. If you are not there isn't much you can do.
