I would always recommend a bigger battery, which i know some laptops offer in accessories or something. As far as browsing and watching a movie goes, you'll be more than fine. That hard drive is extremely big if your not going to be using it for much, so cutting back on that could save you some cash. My alienware laptops screen is 14" and it doesnt bother me at all, so you'll be good with 15.5".

Overall good for what you want it for.

Alright, I'll try to look into i5 and see if I can make any changes, thank you.

As for Meeder, I will be using it for web-designing here and there, RuneScape a few times, etc. I just didn't mention it in the OT because people would rate the computer off those subjects which isn't what I wanted because I'll rarely be doing those on my laptop. The major things will be taking place on my desktop. Thank you, btw.

I have a similar one. Great lasting computer, wouldn't recommend for gaming though.

    As a general consensus, i7 > i5 > i3 > Pentium Processors.
However, these aren't really a 'good' deal in terms of price / specs. I5 should go around $400-500, near 6 to 7 depending on add ons and such. For daily usage, all should do fine depending on what you define as daily. For Runescape, the graphics should all be fine with Intel HD.

I would go with the Acer.. They're just built better in my opinion. Would never get an HP or Toshiba, and would only get a Sony if it was an incredibly good deal, which this one is not.

    Not always true though..
