Rate Runescape 1-10

Id say 7, too many changes to the original game have destroyed it's uniqueness but still greatly addicting.

 

8/10, the looks of your skills now are ugly, mouse clicks(the update today),barrows armour. it was just pointless ugly updates

 

I totally agree they're just trying to fit a perfectly good game into a community of crap ones.

 

id call it "overupdateing" they update useless shit which just makes people angry, insted of fixing things that could use it, such as quest npcs/monsters

did the mountain daughter the other day and the bear is just in the need of a make-over.

 

5/10 How it is today.. 9/10 Before all of the ugly updates..

Wow very definitive @ lame, I agree but wouldn't give it a 3 but it was great in the old days.

 

I concur. Back in the day the game was great, but now they're just trying to keep up with all the new MMOs.

 

I still give it an 8 for what it's worth.

I think it is more fanboys are going to be fanboys. The game has been losing ground for years now, and it will be hard unless they change the game up entirely. Look at the new browser games: Wizards 101, that cartoon network game, Silkroad Browser and many many more. The game is old hat.

 

They are changing the game entirely, or at least they are doing their best at it. Jagex is doing a fair job keeping up with the times, in my opinion, and that's why I gave it an 8/10. The game isn't perfect, and it definitely needs to be updated to keep up with current MMOs, but since they are trying to make it appealing to non-fanboys again I have to give them props.

Tbh, most of the fanboys are raging 2004-2007 people who simply remember the game back when they still thought girls had cooties anyway. And most of them hate the game now (see this entire thread + every other RS2G thread).

 

Old rs, 12/10.
Current RS, 5/10.

Forget about botting, forget about scammer and forget about the fact that I grew up.

Its just not as fun as it use to be, because people were nicer back then and more people were playing as well.
