those are great specs, but you could have gotten them for 400$ cheaper easily

I could easily run that with my Core 2 Duo with 4GB's of ram and Geforce 9800GTX+, so I think you could have went with a cheaper computer for that. Besides, Modern Warfare 2 doesn't take a whole lot to run.

That's true, he could have got an i7 setup with a 5870 and maybe more ram for that much cash, and maybe even a 1TB hard drive since they're soo cheap now, I can find a $65 1TB hard drive, but only in Canada.

If he paid more than half, you could have got more than half bang for your buck. DID YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE!?!?!? Just joking, but was this computer custom built or pre-built by a company like HP, Dell, Compaq, eMachines, et cetera?

A great computer but over priced. Two years ago I bought my desktop with 750 gb hard-drive, 6 GB of ram, loaded it with windows 7 ultimate ect. and it cost me $1,100. Two years later, 2gb of ram more and less hard drive space doesn't seem to be worth the 300 dollars.

How do you run bots and play MW2 at the same time? Whenever I run a full screen game and bots at the same time, the bots stop responding.

I believe the forum topic said "rate". You'd find most people say this computer is decent. Not the best, not the worst.

Yeah, technology advances every year. I got a 1TB hard drive for $65 plus 12% tax.

He might have a dual monitor setup, or he might be running a different operating system that can do it, or he's running his games in Window Mode? Not sure, just guessing.

You could'a built a totally new computer from parts, for 1,400 you'd have a huge ass rig that wouldn't get outdated in like 20 years.

Sadly I spent around $600 for my build, and I stuck with a Socket 775. I already had a Core 2 Duo CPU at 2.0GHz, and then when I got my new motherboard I overclocked it to 3.4GHz and it was stable.

I also bought 4GB's of DDR3 ram, and got a 9800GTX+ with 1TB hard drive and a 700W power supply, et cetera. I'm hoping to get a Core 2 Quad later on.

Since you said it's new, I woudln't say $1400 is a terrible price. I'd say that is a decent deal.

I'm sorry to break it to you, Mysko, you could have built that computer for around $900 - $1000.

I picked out a lot of the cheapest stuff on NewEgg to show you that you could have gotten it for cheaper. Now I could have picked higher quality power supply and case, but that would cost a lot more.
