Suggestions for computer build

need some help for a computer build around this GPU: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-560-ti-oem/specifications

Not looking to label it as a gaming computer, Its going to be for a family member.

The computer will be used for youtube videos, browsing facebook, small games.

I'd perfer to have all this in the build

Quad core intel CPU
A case with good airflow
at least 8GB of ram.
Dvd reader
A small SSD for windows and some applications

Try to keep it under $300 CAD but if you break that its no big issue ( I already have the GPU)

 

The i5 quad-core will run you at least 240, if you're only going to play small games just get a cheaper cpu like an i3 or an amd, and do you need a motherboard too?

I didn't say it needed to be an i5. I also said thats what I prefer and that my $300 budget isint a big issue if broken, its just a starting point.

 

Ok but when you say quad core i assumed i series since they are the only relevant intel quad cores atm, because the old intel core quad processors are way shittier than their latest dual cores. Anyways, the build i linked you is the best bang for your buck, just replace the processor with an i3 or whatever else. Don't see the point of getting anything more for what your friend needs it for.

Not really possible to build a decent quad core for under 300$. Srs, almost all those parts are like top of the list on lowest price.

with that gpu, i'd personally just get a pentium g3258 and a larger SSD.
It's only ~$70.
