~Rares~ Whats the deal?

so, i currently have a blue mask and am wondering when they will go back up. i baught it for 90m. about a week ago they were 115M. when do you this the crash will rebound? advice and thoughts please? cheers.

its hard to tell right now with free trade just coming back. people just go by whatever they can get for em when they need the money.

It crashed with free trade, just like most items. It has been rising pretty fast lately, this is just a cool off period, can't see it declining again tbh, I might buy a few actually.

 

I bought green'h ween mask back in 2009/2008 for 20m, few weeks later it was down to 14m ish, and due to other reasons I quit.

Came back in 2010 and it was suddenly worth 110m.

Point: Make sure you have enough cash to just play the game and forget the mask, eventually it'll rise but waiting for it to rise is a slow and painful process.

 

You think they could ever go back to lik 14m again?

yeah. i actually jusst made 5m on it. some zerker wanted to buy it while i was getting defenders at the warriors guild. he paid 5m over the street. might go buy another soon.

 

they will go up eventually. i would hold onto it.

 

Fucking rares. The people that own them want to go over street price, which is BS. Either RS should update the prices themselves personally or they should follow the GE mid price.

Unless some guy has like, 1000 of them in his bank and sells them for 5m each, probably not.

 

I dont play runescape but im planning to invest in some rares for the hell of it, preferably a high priced party hat.

 

oh give it a solid week, and they should be back to right around what you paid.

 

Terrible advice. Rares fluctuate a lot, they don't just constantly go up over time in a linear fashion.

I'd keep the mask for a week or so until it goes up though and then sell it when you think it's near its peak.

 

Wouldn't cause a ripple.
