If you haven't heard yet, Jagex are supposedly releasing a whole bunch of inactive/banned RSNs this month.

Speculation on how this will affect the market?

I think alot of people will try to snipe one on a fresh lvl 4 account and sell them on sythe for a good price.

 

Most are going to go to name snipers, not much will change.

 

I agree with farcast most will go to name snipers who are already very good at taking and sniping names so u could probably expect the big name sellers to have new names aft their released

 

Nothing's going to change, keep in touch with the sellers and you might get some good deals if you buy them in bulk.

 

People have bots that can get names insanely fast, if you dont have one or more on a good name, ur not gonna get it.

 

How will they anticipate which are being freed up though - just guess work

Definition of sniping: To precisely execute an attack on an awaited target, with the assumption that it will eventually be vulnerable.

How can one premeditate planned attacks on subjects that are unknown to ever become vulnerable?

There are too many curve balls thrown for anyone to be that much more prepared than the other person.

 

I don't really understand what you mean by RSNs? why would they just release like level 3's? Are they planning on releasing banned accounts in general?

 

If they release the names of banned accounts I'm gonna be pissed.

 

Regardless of preparation, you have thousands of the best combinations thrown into your sniping bot, you will surely get more then the majority of players legitimately trying to get these or specific names.

 

Mods posted on forums you'll need a members account to get one of the names beeing released. My thinking is this will affect the bond price quite a lot.

 

These situations are where the knowledge overpowers technology. I may possibly get more usernames than a few other people, but definitely not due to technical advantages as opposed to mental ones.

 

Yeah, I think so too they added extra spins to the bond im surprised RS3 has gone up since the release of this news. It's cool you have to be a member I hope everyone gets good names.

 

Oh nevermind I get it.. So The accounts will stay banned but the name will be unlocked.. wow.. thats whats good.
