My vote goes 100% to Rock. I can't stand Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop... Only Death Metal, Grindcore and Speed Metal here.

Rock simply because it's got more variation, but I like rap too.

 

Not to say that I don't like Blink 182 or 50 cent (I prefer the former, though), but that's what rap is SUPPOSED to be about. And people love it.

Rock isn't about rhyming lol, in the end Rock takes more talent though.

Rapper: Makes a riff using a computer to make computer made beats (yes drum and bass are made from the computer in rap) and rap normally has 1 to 2 riffs ONLY! Then you make your lyrics, bam you're done.

Rock Band: Come up with riff using guitar, bass, drum. Rock normally has three to four riffs and a rest consisting of guitar solos or drum solos and it is much easier to write a poem rather than writing an actual song.

Oh wait! Rap rhymes, it has more talent... not.

that is also so biassed of u to choose that song for comparison, it is so not the most lyrical of rap, all rap isnt just about sex, it has meaningful songs too e.g. 2pac, Nas, Saigon

I like both but not all Rap...Mainly Hip hop and techno and not Heavy rock. lol =D
