I have been wondering why there hasn't been a lot more concern over the nuclear power plant disaster caused by the big earthquake and tsunami in Japan 4 yrs ago. Ever since this disaster happened, I've been worried about the long term serious effects on people, animals, marine life, plants, the air we all breathe, water we drink, food we eat, but, nothing is being reported about any of it in the news. Maybe it's because the damage is done, and can't be undone, and the government leaders all know there would be mass hysteria if the world knew the true extent of the damage that's been done, and is still being done every day from this huge, on-going disaster. Most people are blissfully unaware, or forgetful, and have no idea that although this happened over 1500 days ago, the power plant still remains so dangerous at its source, the actual cleaning up from it really can't even begin until sometime in 2018! My biggest question has always been: WTF were they thinking? Could they possibly have come up with a worse, or more potentially dangerous idea for generating electricity than nuclear energy? Putting those reactors all over the planet with no way to safely and quickly shut them down in case of emergency, knowing the catastrophic damage that would likely occur if anything went wrong with any of them...was a horribly flawed, grossly irresponsible plan and should never have been allowed by any country. It's been nearly 30 yrs since Chernobyl, and in Croatia, and other nearby countries, cancer affects the majority of households, with one or multiple members of families being stricken with a wide variety of the disease...the nuclear plant disaster in Japan is much worse than any of the others before it. The consequences will be much worse too. We need the truth. The government owes us that much, at least., but, instead they seem determined to lie to us, and cover it all up

Yeah lol, we should get rid of useful nuclear power generators because they are dangerous. Nevermind that if you live in a city, you probably have a dozen nuclear weapons aimed right now to kill you in your own house within minutes.
