Range Vs Str

Ok answer the poll..on who would win in a fight, pking in members pvp.

 

str ofc...

 

60 99 1 is a higher combat than 99 range, it also matters if it's a +1 world or not.
In a non +1 world range could win easily with knives-cbow.

I'm getting pretty bored training my str at the moment, I may just train with the cannon.

hit too fast and hard, also if they d bow speced, then switched to poisoned knives and rune cbow, the guy would be FUCKED up the butt.

 

It's an even match. The 99 range guy could always pull out a 600 dbolt spec. The 99 str guy could always hit 300-300 with dds. Really depends on defence levels prayer and such.

 

The spec is the only thing that range has over melee

 

99 range, hands down. But str will win in F2P.

 

I agree, but its a different story in p2p. I guess I really depends on your combo. I would say a barrage/mauler would crush the dbow in a heart beat. But 60 att? Imo I don't really care for it and i've always thought of it as overrated, but in this case range would dominate this shit. Its too quick and the combo is unpredictable. ;p

 

If i had to decide I would go with the 99 str and d claws but if you find urself getting beasted on too much to rangers then just get ur range up and pull out those beast range/melee combos

If it was all stats 1 apart from range or strength, then range. Don't need to rely on attack when using range

I chose range because range hits faster and pretty high. thats with 1 def though
if the user you are fighting has a good ammount of def and 99 str 60 attack you will win

There are so many scenarios Tanks, Range Tanks, Def Pures Ect...

Range is way to unpredictable , big hits arn't consistant with range as they are in strength
