Anyone else notice this? they risk like 100k when they fight, some black d hide their neitzot their cbow and a few bolts...

The meleer's risk whips/dharok's and even d claws/ags if they forget to protect it.

This is bull, they are harder to kill yet they drop bull shit
 
You don't have to risk rune, or a whip, or dh.
You choose to.
They don't have to risk Zbow, karils, or dark bow.
They chose not to.

No, they chose not to because rune c'bow @ 10k is better than it.

We are forced to because there are no alternatives. The only melee weapon for 10k is an addy scimmy, good luck hitting anything with that.
Even risking a d bow, it still doesnt even come close to melee riskers.

imo you could have built a range thank but choose not to why be mad about it ?

and some range tanks risk dfs or d bow at higher lvls ...

Well i'm not angry about them not risking, i'm angry about them being like "fight" with black d hide a rune kite and rune c'bow and I say no. then they start calling me names because my risk is more than 10x theirs.

Just sayin' it's welfare central.
 
everything its built diffrently its like complaining that a guy has termoil and you dont he spent his time to built his guy the way he wanted what does it matter if all the guy with termoil has is a glory dds and some d boots and he wins it just means his way worked
 
Tank welfare gear:
15 Dragon Bolts (e) is 100K
Rune Legs are 35K
Nez is 45K
SnakeSkins are 15K
Granite Shield is 35K
Normally has Glory amulet for 60k
280k~risk
Claws as special weapon, that they Protect

Melee Welfare gear:
Rune Plate is 45k
Rune Legs are 35k
Nez is 45k
Dragon Boots, 200k, but you can use Rune or Climbers. 200k, 85k, or 55k.
DDS 30k
Strength amulet seems to be most popular that I see.
Edit in: Dragon defender is free.
200k~ Risk with Climbers. 230k~ with Rune.
Whip you keep with protect item.

You both have Barrows Gloves, 130k.

You choose to risk that much, I don't know why you're complaining.
On my tank, I risk Torag's Helmet and Legs, I pray my DFS, and don't use a Spec weapon.

I see no problem in tanks, and I have a Pure, a Zerk, a Maxed main, and a tank.

Not really, since that post made no sense what so ever. Dragon defender is not free, it costs a LOT of time. Glory ammy beats str ammy 10 ways to sunday

No one worth half their salt uses anything other than dragon boots

and no one uses whip/dds, unless you want to get roflstomped.

Usually gonna be risking a whip, dharok's, or using an ags, which if you forget pro item is 55M

Tank rangers use welfare bullshit compared to meleer's


Here's the way i see it:

Tank rangers: Black D hide top and bottom, rune kite shield, rune c'bow, about 70k? Glory like 60k, snakeskin like 30k, so thats 160k, maybe like 5 dragon bolts and 15 diamond

On a rare occassion the 700k D bow, which is protected. whoopde doo


Meleer's: Full rune: 150k/ Dharok's: 10M /
AGS 55M / Claws 25M/ Whip 2M (if smited/ forget pro item) / dds (35k)
Dragon boots 250k

So yeah the difference is pretty obvious


The problem is that tank range welfare gear is accepted among rangers, while if you use full rune a d scim/whip and dds you will be laughed at and no one will fight you

Getting 99 Range, and Defence without having high attack takes WAY more time than getting 100 Dragon Defenders even.
Okay, Glory for Glory then, evens Price out.

On My Zerker I still use Whip and DDS, I don't get madeupword?

If you forget Protect item, that's your own damn fault, can't complain about that here.

Plus, a ranger with black dhide body, rune legs, rune kite, nezzy, glory, rune cbow, snake skin, would own a melee welfarer.

Also, don't tell me u don't get owned on ur zerker with a whip and a dds... dds is sooo underpowered compared to claws it is not even funny. If your at 1/2 hp and someone claws u 2x on a zerker 85% chance ur dead.

What? How does 99 range take any difference with or without attack?

Well the idea behind PvP is risk vs reward, I could just make one and "join" 'em, but I just wanted to express my opinions. No need to take things personally.

Exactly, this is what I was complaining about. Not the fact that i would forget protect item or anything.

Quit your bitching and l2pk. Rangers have to use ammo as opposed to melee never having to "re-up" (in theory). It's all in what you use.
 
yeah i agree its very annoying because it really does give them a big advantage
 
99 Defense with a Whip, easy.
99 Defense with a Rune Scim, not easy what so ever.
99 Range with high Defense is easy.
I don't get owned on my Zerker, I just don't, I rarely even KO with DDS, I normally just combo 350s on the guy and he's down. I'm 110+10, I know how to play.

Don't fight the welfare tanks.
Most tanks that I know use Claws as special weapon as well.

It has nothing to do with "l2pk" I'm not complaining about them being over powered. I'm saying just like the guy above did, it gives them a monetary advantage, so to speak

I can see the other side of the whole "re upping" thing with training, however.
 
No, toxic, this isn't a l2pk situation or I would have said it.
It's a situation of how someone is choosing to risk a high amount, but complain about people risking a low amount.

He doesn't have to risk 66M or whatever he risks, but he chose to, and complains because other don't.
