And people are racist because they don't like a certain culture. And they generalize people that look a certain way to be a part of the culture they do not like. Fascinating story, yes?

People are racist because of what they've been taught, basically.
It all started with a group of people who thought it was weird to not be the color they were.
They had children, grandchildren, and so on. What they taught their children, their children taught to their children.
It's all about blood.
If your family is racist and your mind is open to SO many new things, it's kind of hard not to believe something different..

I believe people are racist due to the fact that it's a way to insult someone.

If you had a perfect looking muslim/sikh/christian, then what do you say about them to hurt their feelings? except for skin color remarks etc.

Others are racist because they steriotype all of one religion into one 'catogary'.

Like Hitler blamed the Jews for taking all the money and jobs when there were millions of jews in poverty.

Where exactly do you expect this conversation to go? Maybe post an opinon so we can refute it? This is at least the 5th thread about this this month... none of them do anything because there's nothing to discuss. "Why are we racist?"... where can that go?

Again, maybe post something that can actually spark a difference of opinion, thus a discussion, (other than the first person in here that denies racism even though everyone knows it exists or the first person to come in and actually be racist) rather than a sentence on a topic of morals...

Oh, and I'm sure this wasn't intended by you to spark discussion, but since when is racism exclusive to the US? I'm sure by now someones already mentioned at least 3 examples bigger than anything the US has ever had...

I live in Australia, Racism is still a big issue here.

I personally am australian but come from egyptian background, Some people bieng the inconsiderate Retards they are refer to all arabs as terrorists because of what happened on 9/11, just because some arabs are nutters, Doesnt mean we all are..

I think racism should be discouraged all over the world

Just when I thought your thread was going nowhere, you made it worse. Posts like "thank you for responding to my thread. please continue to do so." alone would make me think you're trying to use this to get your PC up, but judging by how fast you un off topic giving you credit on a thought is a bit too much.

How about you post something relevant to the thread, such as an answer to my earlier questions?
