Why does everyone have to be such pussies, with all this 'political correctness' I mean, if i go out and point a gun at a person of color and say 'Im gonna kill you nigga...' then i can see where someone could take offense. Though, if I PM one of my friends say 'Whats Up Nigga?' why take offense...... Its all about people being too sensitive about things that have already been said and done.

I dislike that language as well, so if you feel it offends you, then get rid of it, but it must be legitimate a legitimate reason. When you start saying random words offend you, obviously you are lying and there is no need to get rid of them. Cursing in general is unnecessary, but at least tolerable. Discriminatory statements I feel are not.

 

There are so many words that can be taken as discriminatory words. If we banned them all we would be very restricted on talking.

While there might be a number of words that are considered discriminatory, you will not be restricted in the slightest. You just need to expand your vocabulary. According to the following source, there are nearly a million words in the known English language. Something tells me there is hardly a restriction put upon you.

Why must we have this argument? We all have freedom of speech, why try to impede and censor.

 

There are a lot of words that can be interpreted differently like hooligan can mean dirty Irish drunkards. Also Vandal can be interpreted as one who is a filthy, heathen, German swine. Yes they're are a lot of different interpretations on a lot of words why don't you ban them to there are thousands of them.

 

So you are saying that if we banned these "thousands" of words, your speech is impeded. Let's say there was 10,000 of these words, all of which are discriminatory. That makes up only 1% of words. Try and see if you can use the other 99% which won't offend people.

To protect users from discriminatory words. If you don't see how "nigga" is considered a racial and discriminatory comment, then I see no reason in arguing logic with you.

Good night pwned and ref lets restate this there are hundreds of thousands of words with double meanings. If we tried to ban every racial word we would need to look through every english word and see if there are any other meanings to that word. I also believe we have the freedom of speech and you won't allow that on a website. If a word is intended to be discrimative to someone just give them a warning/ infraction I don't believe we should be banning every word.
