    It wasn't a manual ban from the start. Even when I logged in after the unlock It said I was banned, kicked me off, then I logged it and it was back to normal, max cash in pouch, 2b in inv.

    I was very worried about that, lol.

    The unban worked because no actual GP was xferred off the account. It was a precaution ban by Jagex, and the appeal was made saying the account was hacked. Since this story makes complete sense (foreign IP on account, items liquidated), it's no surprise it was unbanned on this basis. Otherwise, any account which was hacked and liquidated would be perm banned.

    I had fairly high hopes that the appeal would be successful. I've never seen an account banned simply for selling a Party Hat for GP. That's what made this case so frustrating, not 1 gp was traded off the account before the ban.
