R2Pleasent.com is Shutting Down

It comes with sadness to announce we are shutting down R2Pleasent.com. It's been a wild 15 years running the service here on Sythe. The business truly gave me direction in life and helped me become the person I am today. It all started with a few gold sales on Sythe.

Thank you everyone who supported us over the years. The community has given so much to me. I am forever grateful for the way this forum is run, with a focus on fairness / equality / transparency. When I joined, scams were everywhere. This community developed systems and processes which made trading so much safer and easier.

So thank you, Sythe. Onto a new era. The RS Gold Grandpa is checking out...

 

I’m sorry to hear this. Is this for the same reasons as Alch, Bogla etc? And does this mean the same for your other sites, or was R2P the only one which was on?

I've decided to exit the industry for multiple reasons. The most important is that I want to focus on some passion projects. It's been an incredible run, but my interests have changed a lot over the past 15 years.

 

Gl with whatever you're going to do It seems you have multiple reasons to quit and your interests aren't the same anymore. I wish you the best of luck!

I remember when you first started man how everything has changed..you were the first guy and only guy that I bought gp as a kid from, and it made me so happy as I did not have a lot back then thanks for all the good times wish you nothing but the best. if you got any old stock you're trying to dump hook me up ill buy it all for old time's sake.

 

This is really sad to read. Years before I even knew Sythe existed, I knew of your sites as one of the few sites that sold gold back in the day. Me, amongst some of my other friends back then would buy gold from your site back when we were in our teens and didn't even know forums like this were around.

Sad to see you go, but hope whatever you move on to next treats you well.
