QuickEdit malfunctioning

UPDATE: This issue is resolved.
We're aware of the issue where trying to edit a post by clicking the edit button does not open the inline post editor, and the progress wheel displays indefinitely:



As a temporary workaround, you can Ctrl+Click the edit button or (right click and choose to open the link in new tab/window) to use the non-inline editor for the time being.

 

Or you can click with your mouse wheel on the edit button on some browsers (firefox works). The edit button is working good for me. Thanks for addressing this

Alternatively, you can also click on the post number of your post on the top right which will open the post in a new tab. You can then edit it normally from there.

 

What's causing the issue in the first place? I'm curious.

If they knew that, then the problem would probably be fixed. I'm assuming it's a Javascript error, for some reason it's not loading it (either someone disabled it or there was a code change that made it not work).

 

It's not that much harder to do the left click method, and it's always done it for me in the middleman section but now it's doing it forumwide.

If you're using Adblock plus, try changing the settings on that. One of the new banners has some JavaScript attached or something. I disabled that and it shows for me.
