    REWARD!

    Need urgent help with algebraic fractions please.. not sure what it's called lol
    But when they ask you to make the values change position in fractions like..

    Change

    V = M
    . . . R

    (disregard the dots, needed them to make R underneath M)

    to

    R =

    (may not make any sense at all, trying to remember from highschool)

    need help asap pleeease! If this isnt possible, is there any similar things like this? if so, please tell me..

    [email protected].. If i aint on, please do your best to help me here pleeeeease

    Yeah, R=VM, and M=VR.

    This is actually incredibly easy to solve, let me give you an answer quick and then I'll explain:

    R = M/V

    The way I solved that is rather simple to explain:

    We are given:

    V = M/R

    In order to solve for R, we must separate it to it's own side. There are two ways to do this:

    RV = M (multiply both sides by R to get R out of the denominator and into the numerator)
    OR
    V/M = 1/R (Divide both sides by M so that R is on it's own side).

    RV = M is easy to solve from here. To solve for R, just divide both sides by V (kind of like multiplying both sides by R that was the previous step). Dividing both sides by V gives us
    R = M/V

    For 1/R = V/M, all we have to do is "flip" both fractions. This means R/1 = M/V. R/1 however is just equal to R, so we have R = M/V.

    If you have questions still, don't be afraid to ask! I'll gladly walk you through algebra.

    Final answer:
    R = M/V

    Malyce got it.

    I'm just in awe that it took 3 posts to get to the correct answer with the first 2 giving a ridiculously incorrect answer. This is not even highschool level stuff.
