This was in my textbook, didn't have to do it but eh.. I tried it and couldn't figure it out, so I showed my dad and he said it was impossible because A and W are not midpoints. Could some of you just verify that this problem is impossible to solve?
Given: Segment VX congruent to Segment VZ
Y is midpoint of Segment XZ
Prove: Segment WY is congruent to Segment YA
x339 in IRC:
Given: Segment VX congruent to Segment VZ
Y is midpoint of Segment XZ
Prove: Segment WY is congruent to Segment YA
x339 in IRC:
[17:23] <+x339> Beestar at first glance it appears that without measurements of WY and YA than it is impossible to determine if they are midpointas
[17:24] <+x339> Beestar also we don't know if XZ is congruent to the other sides or large so it is impossible to determine that, which makes it more impossible to determine if the other two points are midpoints.
