Quick Easy Job for [2M RS3 cash]

Hey sup.

I need a quick job doing.

I have a logo, I need someone to enchance to my specifications

It has to look kind of robotic, maybe with some sparks or something coming off it
Colour wise it has to be dark, maybe a grey, dark green etc.
3D is necessary
No background is preferred.
HAS to be the font from the pic (just cut it out)

I'm sorry but these type of threads piss me (and i'm sure alot of other designers) off.
You decide for us that it isn't much of a job, so you only offer 40 cents for it. Then you give us an image we have to pentool out ourselves, make it look robotic, add effects and sparks, enhance it, and then make a bgd for it or even leave it transparent, (which can be harder when we want to use stocks for the sparks for example since we're not able to use blending modes.)
You should know better really.

Advertising purposes? Oh as if we don't get that one like all the time. We all know no one cares about it, it's just an excuse to lower the offer. If you're honest you know damn well no one is going to even care a little who made it, or if they do the chance of them being potential clients is near none. And i know i should calm down, it's hard tho when you have people (including you, which is proven by this thread) offering shit rates all the time.

Although Reflex probably should chill his tots a little, what he says is true. The price offered compared to the work required is very unbalanced. To sum it up: you may have people who are newer to gfx that may be willing to do it but if you're expecting something more high-end your compensation isn't equivalent to work required. So if you don't want to possibly waste someones time then a good recommendation would be to maybe rethink the offer from your end.

I've been creating gfx here for years and years... I barely ever play RS and was offering all I had.

My apologies for not realising the exchange rate. I was hoping my recommendation would make up for it.

P.S yeah, I could do it myself. I was hoping one of the newer guys who do all their work for free would step up and do it, Instead of being dragged through the 3/4 pages.

We are reading everything.. Its just so... Frustrating for us, graphic designers man. It pisses us off when something like that happens. I made a report not too long ago about a case different but alot similar with this case where he wanted always more but for really small amount of money and ended up not paying. (Btw i know alot of people read this thread so just letting u know its done now with me and him and we arent mad at each other anymore ahah we can even consider a friendship :nuts: ) anyway, my point is that please try asking for help in free graphics section beside donating 40 cents to the one who makes it.. Thats just frustrating sry man

 

'Graphic designers man', I've been making graphics on here since 2006 or so, used to charge 100k a sig. I'm not trying to short hand someone, I simply did not know the exchange rate of the current GP to $ x_x.

One - depending on the advertising at hand, this deal isn't bad. Advertising for a little more profit isn't ever a bad thing. It's like giving away free food at a business for a little word of mouth advertisement, such as, "This guy's awesome, go to him!"

Two - I don't believe it was out of his jurisdiction to offer a small amount, as yes, I would probably be willing to do this for free, just for being the kinder guy that I am. If you're not happy with what's being offered, kindly make a suggestion and move on. Having 5 people post on the thread with the same response is a little dramatic.

Like I said before, kindly suggest the OP to have a higher offer, and move on. Maybe some CNC about why the offer should be higher, but nothing more, and no back up posts are needed. Considering this is in the marketplace, I consider all the posts, even Moonglare's, to be spam, as it has already been mentioned above in earlier posts.

On topic... I'm sorry, I would do this, but I'm very busy IRL, and I wish you the best luck in finding someone to do it just for the experience and learning of it.
