Quick dungoneering question for my range tank

Basicly im getting my dungeoneering up while levelling my range on my new range tank, my dungoneering is currently 38 and ofcourse im trying to keep 1 prayer but i keep hitting a wall in some dungons where i need to 'excercise the room' yoou know wha i mean the door that gives prayer xp and with my luck its never been a 'pointless' door it always been apart of the dungon and its happened 3 - 4 times ive just had to leave so is there anyway i can stop getting xp from getting through these doors? i know i can turn shared xp off BUT im soloing dungons atm so please is there a way?

 

When opening a party interface, there should be an "XP" icon in green. Just click it and it will turn red, this means shared XP is off.

 

yes but with shared xp off i still get xp if I open the door dont i? because im soloing atm

 

seriously need this question answered getting very stressed on floor 19 4 times trying to run through it now ive had a exercise door!

 

Do a lower complexity which doesnt include prayer? Less xp but no more doorsfor prayer...

 

well this floor seems to want to 100% have an exercise door so i will have to do lower complexity for this floor -.-

 

You can always try group dungeoneering. Allows you to skip those doors and let someone else do them. Just turn shared xp off.

 

you can always join a dung team and turn shared xp off and you'll get faster floors

 

I think if you are soloing and you come across that problem, you simply have to skip that room. If that room is absolutely necessary to open in order to complete the dungeon, then you may have to quit the dungeon and load up a new one

It sucks, but I believe that is the only way. Jagex did not intend to cater to pures so there are certain things that you just can't find ways around.

 

Group dunging isn't the best at that level, but if you absolutely must dunge solo, you'll have to keep aborting the dungeon.

 

I know thats why i was avoiding trying to group

 

you could just buy floors, pay someone to rush smalls for you.

 

I'm a pure that solo's dungeons, with shared XP off, and I don't get XP. No you will not getting XP for opening a door with shared XP off.

 

well i turned shared xp off and burnt a debris door and got the xp :s, and im not buying floors it stupid price i can rush smalls quite fast too with being a range tank

 

You have to do large floors, else you have to open them or use a lower complexity, also when doing large floors uncheck share exp.

 

Join a clan, or get friends to help you out. You could just leave the dungeon when you reach the room. But you'd lose out on EXP and you'd receive no tokens
