Question:

If someone goes firsts, sends the payment as a paypal gift, and the sends a disclaimer with it that promises not to charge back, what are their chances of charging back.

 

It's up to them, they can still chargeback, and they have a chance of winning, but so do you. Ask them to chargeback, then cancel the chargeback, if they go first so there's no way for them to do it again(once a case is closed it can't be opened).

 

They can still chargeback. If it's an actual "Chargeback" from CC company you will have slim to none chance of getting it back, if they send as gift they can only dispute as "Unauthorized transaction", which you might have a chance of winning depending if there's proof it wasn't in fact unauthorized.

 

There is still a chance of them charging back the money by stating it was an unauthorized payment or transaction. I'm currently fighting a case for $140 because the scammer charged it back as an unauthorized payment/transaction. I'll contact police/federal government and take legal actions (possibly court) if I don't receive my money back. Be careful with this stuff.

Ya am currently dealing with a charge back it was sent as gift but he seems to know what hes doing so dont think i will see my money glad its only $10..

Paypal is really unsafe only use for trusted people.

 

I would always steer away from PayPal if possible.

After they've received their commission, they couldn't care less about the money.

 

Ya i mean am in a dispute atm ive done its a claim and it will prob take more then a week for paypal to view it and decide wich one gets the $
