Question on Tzhaars

For anyone with experience, what are optimal stats/gear to switch to Tzhaar -- I bought perfect fighter and am working on my first account, so its a lot of learning as I go -- also any tips you guys want to leave would be useful

My goal is maxed melee.

 

Any kind of melee gear with a high crush defence bonus.
they lv 149 tzhaar use crush attacks only.

would say something like bandos and dfs or torag and obby shield.. just note you'll have to recharge the torag every 15 hours or so.

 

You can start tzhaar with low combat stats (80-80-80) if you have guthans.

 

If you have money to spend on food, you can do tzhaars in rune with an obby or blssd spirit shield. I'd say 70-70-60. Don't use granite top and d legs because then, imo, you just look like a botter

Edit: Ive got a 119 cb main, got 99 strength and 94 attack there, with probably 6m tokkul and 20m in other items.
I used, sara sword/whip, torags, firecape, neitznot, dragon boots, firecape, berserker ring, barrows gloves, fury.
I used combat potions and lobsters, 27 lobbies and 1 cb pot ofc. There are 3 of each type you want to kill, that being 3 level 149's and 3 139's (139 i think).
