Question on new CB lvl

Ok, so from what i read in RS Homepage, the new CB formula is

X + Defence level + 2 = CB LVL

X= Being highest skill

So i have a question.

What if my defence lvl is 99?

Could i get a lvl 200 acc with just maxing out one skill?

The you'd be level 102, implying your other combat skills remain at one.

Not possible. If you get 99 defence and 99 attack, strength, magic, or ranged then you'd be level 200.

Champion is wrong.

Highest combat stat + defence + 2

for example

99 mage + 99 defence + 2 = 200, so yes, you will be 200 cb. that's the major flaw in it lol

He said you can get 99 in EITHER attack, strength, mage, or range and you'll be at 200 if you have 99 defence.

 

So maxed pures are 101 combat now?

What the fuck?? This is my first time hearing this... Are you kidding??? All the work I put into my account, and I get to keep 40 def, so that will affect the level dramatically?

 

Incorrect, a maxed pure would be level 102;
99+2+1=102

Prayer, Summoning and Dungeoneering won't level up your combat.
They don't count as 'X' in 'X + Defence Level + 2 = Combat Level'.
