Question for those with banned inferno capes

after or IF you did it legit after being banned, was it wrongfully removed or have you still got it?

Reason i'm asking is that when inferno came out, and people where doing capes before team viewer ect i bought one on my pure, Now i'm wanting to get it on my main i'm just concerned that i'll get another ban with a cape removal because of what i did when it first came out.

Does anyone have any experience with this or know of anyone?

 

I had one done on a pure awhile back VIA teamviewer, it wasn't removed nor my account banned. Through teamviewer there is no way for Jagex to tell if you did it or someone else remotely.

 

Yeah, only problem being that i may be flagged for buying in the past on my ip. so i'm trying to figure out if anyone else did this.

 

im wondering the same thing if you have been banned before for buying the service without teamviewer then getting banned and it removed can you then get it done on teamviewer and be safe?

 

Theres no way? lol you must be lucky thats why your cape wasnt removed. They can detect teamviewer capes, since your not using your own mouse and so clicks are registered different Sherlock.

 

What proof do you have of this?

 

8 clan members got their capes removed, all of em done via TW. Also some of them tried to get the cape themselves multiple times so its not like they got it on first try which maybe look sketch for jagex idk. They also good at pray flicking ect, so if thats not the mouse clicks you tell me what else?

 

I'm racking my brain trying to come up with a way that Jagex would determine the input device a user was using for their mouse clicks and I'm just not getting it.

There is data that they can easily get about your system (like MAC address as an example) but as you are merely using remote desktop rather than some kind of injection software, I'm unaware of any way they could possibly be aware that the input is not coming directly from one of your devices. Even if they did somehow monitor your devices, remote desktop emulates your mouse and keyboard - it does not act in addition to it.

 

Complete wrong use of "Sherlock" btw. Doubt this is true though.

why Jagex put so much interest in this? manually banning people for a cape?

 

In order to prevent the average joes from diminishing its value/status.

 

apparently it isn't manual, was looking at some older posts with mod comments and it's an automated thing to ban/remove, then i guess after a mod will review it if they get a complaint idk.

 

Teamviewer should be fine. Ask more information about pinkclay and those guys since they do it a lot

 

Jagex will usually remove the Infernal cape & ban you for 7 days.

Jagex addressed this issue and agreed that up to hundreds of dollars + one week of being banned on RS is enough punishment for
people since they aren't botting or doing anything severe that is effecting the integrity of the game itself.

Even some of the most normal legit players purchase these capes.

 

Its a two week ban and also we are trying to get is it as what would happen if you did it again after the first ban and cape removal

 

Yes i got 2 week ban/removal of cape when it came out, just trying to figure out once i did it legit, will it get removed by the automatic system they have in place from anyone who has also done this.

 

im just wondering what would happen if you got it done via teamviewer method would they remove and ban you again or perm ban :/

 

HavE multiple fail attempts
On your IP address and have seller port into your IP address... don’t change ur password after cape is obtained for about 3 weeks. You’ll be fine

 

They can't detect team view my guy if that's the case many people would be banned from using RDP. I'm sure they use brain cells to ban people, never attempted cape before then you just go and grab one first try, then they notice your password changes and some other awkward account activity and boom! they got you.
