Banned for Macro... didnt bot?

Wondering if anyone has had this issue, not 1 second of botting on the account
yet a major macro perm ban...

I'm not going to waste more cash and time questing and skilling to make another
dds/dscim staker if I just get banned for no reason again.

Does jagex even consider unbanning when they're 100% wrong?

 

The simple fact here is, yes you did bot, and you're lying.

Really hate to be so blunt, and I already know you're going to flame the living shit out of me, so save it. Don't come on here lying about shit looking for some kind of tricks to put into your appeals, man. That isn't cool.

 

Jagex won't read your account appeals for macroing/RWT, not even worth a try.

 

You were either playing on a bot client or you're lying. They ignore all appeals it seems, so good luck.

 

I'm not going to spaz lol.. I didn't bot, i wouldn't have posted if i did....
I just wanted to know if they'll even look into the incorrect ban as I didn't even
use a client.....

The systems they have in place to detect botters is probably 99.99% accurate, so chances are, you did bot. And they don't respond to bot appeals.

 

If you were indeed wrongfully banned, it's best to post on the official forums for some attention. Do note that forum mods will lock it too saying that you go through the appeal system which they don't read.

Either way, just restart the account. That's the best option I would have for you.

 

You could try and contact jagex using the ticket system on the site, i did it aswell and they messaged me back with no luck unfortunately

 

I don't see the point in lying, therefore I'm going to just assume you're just looking for sympathy. Truth is, you're not going to be unbanned and lying on a black market about being wrongfully banned isn't going to get you anywhere. Good luck!

LOL at you guys... I'm not looking for sympathy or lying or any of this childish crap. I was asking if anyone had been in a similar situation and if they got a response.

I have NOT botted this account or at all on 07. In the past i botted like a fiend, a maxed turm zerk in fact. But I don't understand how making a low level dds staker legitimately got it banned.

 

Actually my roommate who I played with was banned for "botting" when he was hunting legit, so I have seen it before and these people have no idea what they are talking about. Although, it was a couple months ago and it was only a temporary ban.

 

And as for restarting, I don't think at this point I'm willing to buy membership and train up and quest the stats again because I'll be playing the exact same way, training the same spots, and run the risk of getting falsely banned again.

You may have been mistakenly banned during a bot banning wave. I was falsely banned like this once but I was unbanned later that same day. If you're not lying just wait it out and see if anything happens.

 

Thanks Lathirex, I'll probably wait a day or two and if there's no change I've seen that mods sometimes will talk to you on twitter? worth a shot I suppose, or atleast I can inform them that somethings wrong so others don't get the same situation on their hands

 

You may have not been botting on that account specifically and could have gotten ip banned (small chance) or you played legitimately on a bot client. Jagex doesn't ban randomly

 

You could try tweeting @JagexWeath or @JagexBeno even though they say they don't check bans twice these two mods often do so in their spare time it seems. Goodluck getting your account back!

 

I don't know why everyone is accusing him of lieing lol, there's really no point in him making this thread to ask something that he already knows the answer of. He's been a memeber since 2008 so I'm pretty sure that he knows he has no chance of unban if he did bot.

Jagex have actually banned a few people wrongfully and it's normal, there are millions of players in the game and their system is not 100% accurate. Most of the cases i've heard about people being banned wrongfully they just get unbanned shortly after and when they don't, they just message Jagex and if the employee cares enough to look at the evidence they unban you right away
