Question about titles under usernames?

How some people have the post count names like Newcomer and Forum Addict, some have completely custom ones, some even completely unprofessional in all lowercase letters. How can I have mine changed? Is it something I can do myself or have an administrator do? Or is it strictly for specific members or doing a certain thing in the community?

Is that the only possible way? What is the amount, do you know? I'd love one, because I am tired of seeing Forum Addict everywhere I post >_>

$50 let's you change your UT to someting else, but it stays in the same font/colour.

$100 let's you have colour, bold, italics and all that to your user title.

Essentially, the more you donate, the more enhanced and 'cooler' perks you can have.

 

How come yours is red and bold then?

 

Moderators have all the donation perks. Ex-mods keep them I assume, not 100% sure about that.

 

If you were demoted as a moderator, all you keep is the current UT. I don't think you're able to change it unless you were already a $50/$100 donator. So in Laptop's case, he could only change it to plain text, no effects like color, italics, etc.

If you resigned, you have the ability to have enhanced User Titles and a custom Username Image, even if you are not a $50/$100/$200 donator.

 

I was staff a few months back, and staff have access to all donor perks. I just simply haven't changed mine yet, that's all

Not all ex-mods have donor perks, some, but not all.

This depends on the moderator really, not many mods get the ex-mod rank. Resigned mods usually have more chance of getting ex-mod.

 

I believe the general rule of thumb is you were a moderator for at least three months and you left/resigned without drama, not banned or demoted. It is somewhat subjective and of course it's always left to the upper staff to the decide
