    Question about paypal and middlemans

    Hello,

I'm trying to sell my WoW account and so far I've been scammed once.. He charged the money back after receiving account details.

Now I was wondering if there is a way the buyer won't be able to take his money back, and how does a middleman work with paypal? When they get the money the send it to my paypal account, obviously. But won't the buyer be able charge back the money anyway?

    Question about paypal and middlemans

I don't know much about WoW but you can middleman account for Paypal trades fairly easily. The MM will first get on the account and make sure it has the stats, bank, and acount details he said. Once he checks it he will change the password and information. The Paypal will be sent directly to the buyer and once that is varified the account is given.

Now there is a new option in PayPal calling "gifting". You can send and recieve money without risk of it getting charged back(claimed).

    Question about paypal and middlemans

Odd, I just got paid and found out he could cancel the money, does it have a certain time bound to it before the money will be mine?

    Question about paypal and middlemans

If he "claims" the money he is taking it back. If he is "canceling" he is canceling a claim he put in. After you cancel the claim it should go directly to you. If he claims & cancels he can no longer get his money back.

But like I said, it is much safer on your part to get gifted the money.
I think that answers your question. If not, let me know.

    Question about paypal and middlemans

If they gift you money it removes it from their PayPal balance. The only way they can recieve the money again is if you "refunded" them. I'm pretty sure you can't claim a gift. :noworry:

EDIT: and you can't even send money if your not varified with a Credit/debit card and/or bank/checking account.
