Question about I.P. bans on Runescape

I know that if you get caught macroing/autoing or whatever on Runescape, that your I.P. gets banned. But do they ban the other accounts on that I.P. or just the I.P.? Here are the other questions.

Do they ban the I.P. that the account was made on?

Do they ban the I.P. that it was played most on?

Do they ban the I.P. that is last logged onto?

And do they ban the linked accounts? Or just the I.P.?

The answers to these questions will determine if I cheat on this game or not.

They very rarely ever IP ban you and if they IP ban you then you can't access your accounts anyway. If they resort to IP banning chances are your accounts are already banned as well.

 

ip bans will happen literaly only if you hack them or find a huge bug like the 6/6/6 one

Jagex never IP bans you. Unless you really fuck up and make lots of cash out of a bug or something.

 

So if I made a level 3 account and did that WC auto thing and it got banned. Then I could still use the other accounts I have?

 

possibly... i've been banned for macroing, bug abuse, and real world trading... and i'm not ip banned


they do, however, mark your ip as suspicious... and watch you closely.

 

I believe jagex just disables your acnt.

If they did i.p they would i.p the address that the problem of any sort happened on.

But then it still wouldn't help because people would just change their i.p or use a proxy.

 

If it's your first time getting an account banned for botting, they won't IP ban you, only ban that one account. If you run a gold shop and get caught, they will ban your IP and every account that has ever logged onto your computer.

 

they only the ban the one account that got your ip banned on and your ip, for example if you had two accounts, and one was banned, you could stil use the other one under another ip

Who cares? If you know computers you should be able to change your IP.

 

You don't have to know computers...

Just contact your internet provider and get your IP changed, ta da..

Thanks guys. I think I'll make a WC or fisher autoer now. By the way... SMAC 1.1 is free and it changes your mac address and I.P.. I use it when I get I.P. bans on games like BF2, Medal of Honor, etc.

But the will only ban the I.P. to the linked account? But will they ever actually put it on the linked accounts black marks or anything?

 

lol i tried proxi and nothing. proxi didnt work for rs anymore
