Question about games being deleted

If I purchase an account with CS:GO in it, then decide to delete it. Will I be able to purchase CS:GO again? Or is my only option to get the game again to restore it? Someone from a forum told me that once you delete a game you cannot buy it again on that same account but he also says he isn't sure. Another thing. Does steam keep a history of my games? If I it turns out that I can buy CS:GO again, will steam know I bought it twice? Thanks.​

 

there is no reason to this unless you think that buying a second copy will remove the vac ban (you can't buy)

You can remove every game on an account you have access to. Valve would seriously fuck up if they don't keep history/track of the licenses/cdkeys that were connected to that account. Imagine someone cracks your account and removes all the games, that would mean you wouldn't be able to recover it anymore. Makes no sense, right?

Forget about the illusion of having a 100% secure low digit, its not possible unless you get an empty one (one that was empty ever since). Don't expect to find them anywhere though.

 

Thank you for explaining, another question is. If I delete the game then rebuy it, would I not be able to buy a CD Key from G2A? Because someone told me if you buy a game again they'll give you the same key.

 

Im pretty sure it was me who told you. A support employee told me I can re-add games BUT it will be given the same cd-key as before.

Yes. You should be able to override deleted games. Keep in mind, however, that Steam Support still has record of the PoP for the overwritten copy so it doesn't make it recover-proof. Its is useful if you are adding something like Valve Complete Pack to an account with HL1 pack.
