Question about Divine Spirit Shield

If you are in a stake with shields on but prayer off... will the effects of the divine spirit shield still work? If you don't know what it does, basically it absorbs damage at the cost of prayer points. Thanks in advance guys/girls!

 

No it doesn't. People use Chaotic shields or Ely instead.

Yes, but, how many people range box with shields on?

Might be better off with chaotic eagle eye shield or whatever it's called, but then again, tanking might be better off in a situation like that. Depends on your style of attack/weapons.

 

chaotic kite > eagle eye (all stakes)

For range stakes chaotic kite > ely

For mele stakes chaotic kite is about = to ely

Also, @Flight you never know, you can trick someone into thinking that your gonna use a MSB and then use Morri. axes/ javs w/ cshield.
