Question about Divine Spirit Shield

[Ecstasy Pker]

If you are in a stake with shields on but prayer off... will the effects of the divine spirit shield still work? If you don't know what it does, basically it absorbs damage at the cost of prayer points. Thanks in advance guys/girls!

[freakyhair]

No it doesn't. People use Chaotic shields or Ely instead.

[HamzaAbbasi]

No as it uses the power of prayer points as answered by freaky.

[Ecstasy Pker]

Thanks guys! So do you think its worth me getting a chaotic kiteshield for rangeboxing and putting on shields?

[blastar]

Nope.

[Flight]

Thanks guys! So do you think its worth me getting a chaotic kiteshield for rangeboxing and putting on shields?

Yes, but, how many people range box with shields on?

Might be better off with chaotic eagle eye shield or whatever it's called, but then again, tanking might be better off in a situation like that. Depends on your style of attack/weapons.

[burny]

chaotic kite > eagle eye (all stakes)

For range stakes chaotic kite > ely

For mele stakes chaotic kite is about = to ely

[Ecstasy Pker]

Thanks again guys.
Also, @Flight you never know, you can trick someone into thinking that your gonna use a MSB and then use Morri. axes/ javs w/ cshield.
